Hello! I just bought a laptop, its a acer apacer 3004nlc. The problems started occuring after i installed the drivers. The story goes like this: 1. I installed Microsoft windows xp. 2. i installed the drivers. 3. after reboot, windows starts, mouse movements gets sluggish, and after 3, 4 sec it completly freezez. I repeated steps 1 and 2, and i got the same results. After many hours of detective work i figured out if i boot in safe mode, everything is working fine, and if i disable from run-services.msc- the network connections service, it runs smooth in normal mode to. But if i disable it, and i reboot in normal mode, after i enable and start the service, i still cannot get a network connection established. Please help me with a solution. ps. i have experience in servicing pc and laptops, but i bever encoutered such a problem.

possible incompatible driver because it works on safemode
try to look for some updates sometimes os has buggs that needs to be fix
or try updating bios I agree to you its a weird problem that you have but you already knew that the problem lies on the software:)

i installed the drivers that intel provided on it's web page. And i get the same thing (mouse movements are realy slow, until win freezes. I just discovered that this only happens if my lap. battery and AC power are plugged in both.If i remove the bat. and leave only AC power on it works fine. Same if i remove the AC and leave only the battery. What does this mean? Is my battery going bad? And if it is , can it be fixed? btw my battery charges realy slow.
