my laptop turns its self on

my laptop has started turning its self on at 3.00am every night for no reason. i am guessing its because of something scheduled to run at that time but i can't think what it would be. is there any way of bringing up a list of scheduled events so i can turn it off?

I don't know of a list, but the only software that can do this is the OS as far as I know, though virus scan's and stuff like steam or programs with auto-up daters might also be the cause.

When you boot up your laptop, somewhere it should say press the delete key to enter setup. It might not be the delete key though, it could be a different key. Just be careful in the bis setup, cause if you change something you don't konw it migh make the laptop not boot up. Just look for an option that says wake on lan and disable it.
