My Laptop's CD/DVD Driver Isn't Working ?

Hey...

I recently inserted some new game cd's into my cd rom...and my laptop didn't loaded any of them...

I thought that there could be a problem in the cd's , so i immediately inserted my music cd's into it , which used to work , but didn't...

So i'm quite sure , that there is a problem in my CD driver...

Just don't know , what it could be ??

Some recommended me to re-install the driver , but that didn't helped...

Some recommended me to use fixit (by microsoft) , it didn't worked either...

What should i do in ur opinion ???

I'm using Windows vista and My lappy is just 4 months of age....

Manufacturing company and model no. is "SONY VAIO VGN-FW12G)

The only thing I see is that I don't see an autoplay setting. Are you saying that when you insert cd's that they don't automatically start? If so, thats why, there is no autoplay setting. You will have to go in manually and do it by clicking on the drive in "my computer". You can also try the suggestions on this page but involves checking in the registry.
