So what do you think? Do you see any compatability issues? Once I get some yeses I'm going to start ordering the parts when I get the money, right now I have about $115, so I think what I will get first is the Case, Power Supply and mobo.(total of $109 without shipping)
 
It would be ebtetr to get it all at once....So that way if something doesn;t work you can still return it...
 
well if there's no compatibility issues, than it should be fine, unless the part's broken, but than it comes with a warranty, I do see your point though
 
or I could have them test it before they send it(I think they do that anyways)

the main thing I'm concerned about is the power supply not fitting in the case, because in the cons section, one person said it was bigger than a normal power supply.
 
I know this isn't what you asked but what are you doing buying an Intel, AMD's prices are basically half of what they were. I would re-think that. I was an Intel man (still have an Intel), but value is value.

The reason I'm getting this one is because you can over clock it to about 4 GHz, look here, it'll explain better, http://www.tomshardware.com/2006/05/10/dual_41_ghz_cores/, I was going to get a AMD earlier, but I mean, come on 4 GHz Dual Core for only $100, that's a great deal.

It is not a guarantee that you can overclock it to 4Ghz.

Sometimes you get lucky and you can, other times you can barely hit 3Ghz. Not to mention that if you dont have a good motherboard that has PCI/PCI-E/SATA locks, you can't raise the bus too far, otherwise your system will be unstable.

I would strongly recommend and X2 3800+ for ~$150 instead.
 
well, even it it doesn't even get past 3 GHz, that's more than I'd need, and it fits in my budjet, so I think that's what I'm going to get. The main reason I posted this is so that I could get some people to say if the pieces are compatible or not, not really that much for suggestions on parts that you think I should get just because it's better, I wanted suggestions for parts if one wasn't compatable with another, sorry, I should have cleared that up earlier.
