my light is dimming

hello, i am currently on a pretty bad computer (check sig) but its the family computer and my parent's lives are on it. I noticed that recently the light that goes around the power button was dimmer than usual, but then it went back to being bright. I figured maybe i was just going crazy. then it went dim again and now its bright again. it switches from bright to dim every couple of days and i was just wondering what might be the cause, i was thinking PSU but it isnt randomly shutting down or anything like that, it isnt acting funny in any way since before this started happening.
 
Hey

Even if the light would "die", the computer would still function properly. I would not worry about it affecting your parents' abilty to use the computer.
