Do you think it's worth changing the graphics card from the Sapphire 1Gb AMD Radeon HD 7770 PCI-e 3.0 VGA Card to the Sapphire 1Gb AMD Radeon HD 7770 OC GHz PCI-e 3.0 VGA Card it's like £6 differnce and i've saved £5 for not needed to get cpu paste as i've already got it!
If you are going for a dedicated video card, I would suggest this MB instead.
ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS. I noticed the case you picked out has 2 3.0 usb's on top of it.
The motherboard you had picked out does not looked to have the 3.0 frontside connector in it. As the board I suggested does have the connector and you get higher memory on it also.

Someone did mention to me that if I was going to get that case and board I would need to buy a USB 3.0 Internal Adapter Cable to be able to use the front case 3.0 USB ports.

So if I change the GPU, I would need to change the board as well?

You do not need a new board for a new graphics card. Provided you have a free PCIe slot and a power supply that can provide enough juice, it will work just fine.

I don't know where you were buying this stuff from so can't compare from the same site, but going from ground up, but you can fit a 7850 in your budget and up your CPU to a 6100, keeping it within the 550 budget.

Compared to the original system, the case, power supply, memory and optical drive make no difference.

CPU: You will see similar performance in most games, however out of games will have a better time multi-tasking because of the two extra "cores". With the new consoles coming out shortly too, games ported over to PC will finally start taking advantage of more than 3 cores, making your 4+ core worthwhile, so in a years time it will start to show a major difference when compared to the 4100

Graphics card: The 7850 destroys the 7770 in performance, which is no surprise at it is the next step in the performance hierarchy

SSD: It is twice the size of the one you picked and provides better performance. Don't think much more needs to be said.

HDD: It will be the same speed as the one you picked so far as what you notice is concerned but costs less.

Motherboard: I would not touch Asus motherboards, ever. The build quality is very shabby compared to MSI or Gigabyte and their support is up there with the worst in the industry. The MSI board will have pretty much the same features, but will instead be a solid piece of hardware.

Comes out at ~£544

I was talking about the board, no need to change gpu. In less u like micro boards.

Thanks for taking the time to put that list together mate. Ill have a look when I get home how much each part is with the people I'm getting it all from and let you know.

Thanks again mate. If I keep all my parts listed and change the graphics and CPU to what you have listed, with a bigger SSD that would be alright? Or recommend to use the parts you've listed as being better than what I've listed?

Cheers!

How much difference will that RAM make in gaming as it's the same price?
Not a lot more but FX memory controller supports 1866 and 2133 has headroom for oveclocking. And taller RAM could interfere with something like 212 Evo and down the road you'll want an aftermarket cpu cooler so you can overclock the FX to it's potential.

500w is enough and your CX500m has pretty good build quality for its modular price. Unless I was spending more, I would get XFX 550 Pro. Has a 5yr warranty and more watts/amps headroom. It's made by Seasonic and a much better unit. Way better than the £2 extra. It isn't modular but the cables are sleeved and the couple I wasn't using could be managed well with that case's features so you wouldn't miss it not being modular.
