...And wouldn't shut down last time I tried)
I had installed the system just fine, but it when gave me 127 updates it wanted to install, so I just let it do all of them. All was going well until it got to updating Evince, at which point the computer slowed down a lot (as in, it took literally minutes for it to react when I moved the mouse) until the screen went blank and it seemed to just lock up. After a good half hour of the computer being in that state, I just gave it a force shut down.
After powering it up again, it seemed fine, so I went into the software centre, which opened fine, but whenever I attempt to install anything, it tells me that a previous install failed and that I need to fix it first, without giving me a way to do so.
I then tried to install Google Chrome from the Chrome site, but the Gnome Package Installer said I had another software manager open (which I didn't) and that it wouldn't install the software until I closed it.
Then, oh yeah, last time I tried to shut it down, it didn't work. Wouldn't reboot either. Just sat there doing nothing. Had to give it a force shut down.
I really hate Ubuntu at the moment...
