My Memory Stick

On my memory stick when it is completely empty, it still stays about a quarter full, i have tryed formatting and i have also looked for any hidden files that may be lingering and there is nothing there!
 
how big is it?
it might be files that were on it when it was sold to you.
it still needs interface files, and methods... like USB interface + communications language.
i cant imagine it taking up 1/4 of the space, but how big is it and whos the manufacturer?

It's a Kingston Data Traveller 2+ 256mb
 
If I remember correctly, most Kingstons come with preinstalled software. I know the three that I have came with 4 applications on them.
