My Mobo fried now what?

My video suddenly went out on my computer. I've tried known-good RAM, Video Card and Power Supply. So it must be the MOBO.

I currently have a ABIT 1C-7 in there. Bought it about 2 years ago it has a Pentium 4 socket 478 in it.

Specs on MOBO

Can I even get a mobo that works with my processor anymore? Or would I be better of just getting a mobo/processor combo? What is a decent priced mobo/processor going for these days? I don't need SLI and all that fancy stuff. I think my currenty video card is just AGP.

Not necessarily the motherboard. It could be your processor, what happens when you turn the power on with your working power supply?

When you press the power button the fans turn on. Lights come on in the front and that's it. Display never flickers to on or anything just sits dead with amber light.

More info:
A while back I was getting a loud fan noise off the mobo. It wasn't he proc fan it was another little fan on the board. It would make some crazy noise...like a loud whine. It was always when it first started then after about 5 minutes it would go away.

They stay constant.

I can't find any socket 478 boards on newegg or any reputable US vendor sites. I'm pretty sure my processor is a northwood core 2.8. I can't remember any other specs. Would it work in a different more current board. Or is 478 mean it's 478 and only 478. I don't really understand all the numbers.
