my Mobo P5Kpl Se not detect Ati x550 (help)

I'm newbie here, I'm glad can be member here :D
wanna share my problem

my com spec :

motherboard ASUS P5KPL SE
Intel Core2duo e7400
kingstons 2 Gb

why can't detect my VGA card :( :(
Digital Alliance X550 Ati Radeon 256 Mb
 
You only have one PCI-E slot. Try taking in out and putting back in. Eventually put your ATi x550 into another PC with motherboard that is PCI-E compatible.

Does it have a listing in device manager for it? Or any items with a question mark next to it that needs a driver installed?
 
in hardware list at windows say "unknown hardware" this weird cause the windows already running and everything is oke just vga. and I also had take out and put it at MB still not detect...

This is the most weird cause I had meet,....... SOS
 
After you installed the card, did you install the drivers for it? If not what Operating System are you using?
 
I try to instal but show prompt "the device or operating system is no support by the driver".. I use Windows XP SP2
