My Monitor is pathetic !

Hello over there.
I am fed up of my monitor. its LG LED Monitor. The problem is that whenever I switch on the UPS and the CPU, my monitor at first says no signal. So, I again turn off the UPS Directly, and again switch on the UPS and the CPU, and the second time, or the third, it catches signal. Such booting doesn't seem healthy for my OS, as I have to switch off the PC twice or thrice DIRECTLY by cutting off the power supply.
Please help.

Why do you turn off the UPS? Leave it on and just turn on the computer. Could be the video card. A CPU is not a computer it's a chip!

Yeah i think there is some terminology issues here.

CPU = central processing unit, a component that lives on your motherboard. Many people use this term for the computer in its entirity.

UPS = uninterrupted power supply, which is not on standard computers. If you PSU (a simple power supply) then use PSU.

The signal loss is not likely to be anything to do with your monitor, rather your BIOS set up. Ensure you have the latest Windows Updates and motherboard drivers for your machine.

See.... I really do not know what's the main problem. I just know that my monitor is playing with me.... One time, it turns on normally, and the other time, it says no signal available. Since I cannot see where's my mouse is and what's up with the booting process, I certainly need to shut down the power supply (turn off my UPS). The just next time I turn it on again, my monitor catches signal. But this I'd very pathetic....

I have windows 8.1 with the latest updates. My drivers are updated as I use driver booster 2.... So non issue with software I think...

I had waited a lot for the magic to happen. But no... :(

Are you sure it's your monitor and not the PC?

I really can't tell. That's why I reached this forum.

Uninstall Driver Booster 2, its garbage and probably has given you malware or bloatware at the very least.

Download PC Wizard from my sig, install it and run it. Go to FILE, SAVE AS, click OK and copy the text out of that file into this thread.
