My mouse and keyboard are not working, I really need help on this one.

Hey guys, not sure where to put this. Have had friendly help here before so thought I would return.

Basically my mouse and keyboard are not working on my new build. They work fine on the Bios and when I press F8 during boot up. I can select to enter safe mode as I had seen recommended on some other googled posts, but still mouse and keyboard will stop working once I get to my desktop.

Checked my Bios and all USBs are set to enabled with Legacy Enabled to.
Using Windows 7 on an Asrock Z68 Extreme7 Gen3 Motherboard.
Have tried both the mouse and keyboard on a single wireless USB dongle and had seperate mouse and kb on different USB cables.

Any advice?

Did you try turning Legacy off? Since you aren't using the PS2 ports...

Do you have anything else attached to USB at the moment? I've seen foreign USB items interfere with Windows installation.
