Anybody have similiar problems or have these parts?!? Can any help would be really appreciated. thanks...

by the way I just turned it on this afternoon and everything worked fine ( one day after this thread was started).

Then.....later....the computer wouldn't turn on.

im so confused and worried.:(

Check your soft-on connection. perhaps the little 2 wire connector was barely holding when yo first put it in and now maybe it is half out.

Got another computer? Pull the PSU and try it in another. If OK, put it back in and unplug EVERYTHING except 1 stick of RAM and the video card. Check to make sure the power plug is seated all the way into the mboard. Make sure the RAM is seated all the way and both keepers are up and locked. Try again. If it lights up start adding your stuff back in one piece at a time until it either all works or you find a defective part.

If it doesn't, test the RAM in a working machine. Switch to onboard video if you have it and try that.

Unplug the keyboard and mouse too for the test. I have had machines hang on the keyboard.

Reset the BIOS to failsafe settings and try.

Try standing on your left leg singing Jingle Bells. That works sometimes!!;)

Do you get a POST beep?

I have had just about every imaginable part on a computer fail. I have had brand new power supply's DOA right out of the box. I have had stuff conk out on burn-in and so on. Don't overlook even the simplest thing.

nope no posting or beeping at all...not one single sign of life except for that green led on the mobo. I'll try a bunch of these trouble shooters with a friend of mine in the next few hours.... I'll report back
