This is all i no

i wnt to make it a pentium 4 or higher, realy good sound and grapics

i want to do a computer techtion course soon maby next year i want to become a game programer one day.

it would be cheaper to just build a new computer than upgrading that one.
how much do u want to spend? an ill give you a parts list.

Reddevil is right. It'd be much cheaper just to build a new one. Because if you're looking for good sounds/graphics and the like, and possibly get into computer programming for games n such, it sounds like you're going to want it to be a game oriented machine. Which is gonna require at least 2G RAM, dual core processor, a motherboard that supports PCI-E, and a PCI-E video card. RAM is fairly cheap running no more than $40-$60, processor, motherboard, and video card can run upwards of $200 depending on quality.

it was the forum, sometimes does it,

i'll try and get a mod to delete / close the thread.
