My New Computer!!!

I'm building a new computer and I'm not sure about all of the components so please help out and give your suggestion!!! Please and Thank You!!!

Operating System: Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-870 quad-core processor [2.93GHz, 1MB L2 + 8MB shared L3 cache]

Memory: 10GB DDR3-1333MHz SDRAM [4 DIMMs]

Hard drive: 2TB 7200 rpm SATA 3Gb/s hard drive

Office software: Microsoft Office Starter 2010

Security software: Norton Internet Security(TM) 2010 - 15 month

Graphics card: 1GB ATI Radeon HD 5770 [dual-link DVI, HDMI, DP, VGA adapter]

Primary optical drive: LightScribe 16X max. DVD+/-R/RW SuperMulti drive

Networking: Modem

Front Productivity Ports: 15-in-1 memory card reader, 1 USB, 1394, audio

Sound Card: Integrated sound

Keyboard and Mouse: HP deluxe wireless keyboard & wireless mouse
 
10 gigs is way too much...4-8 is typical in a gaming build, with most people opting for 4. You really don't need more.

The power supply is just what it sounds like. The part that you plug the power cable into on the back? That's it, and you want a good one. OEM's like HP nearly always use terrible power supply units, which can barely handle the system. not only are they over stressed, but they're usually pretty terrible in general. If a crappy power supply blows, it can potentially take out several other components as well...perhaps even the entire system. A good one will be less likely to blow, provide more stable power, and probably will not toast your system in the event that it does blow.

OEM's (dell, HP, gateway, etc) also typically use crappy motherboards. They often have cheapo parts on them, which shortens the lifespan of the machine, but they're also locked, meaning that a lot of features in the BIOS have been disabled.

ok i have a question how can i replace the power supply, and what to do with the mother board, besides that in theory when can the power supply get fried?
