with that board he will be fine, just install the ram befor u install the heatsink, otherwise u cant get the ram in

I haven't purchased anything yet but I'll get it through NewEgg. I just got off the AMD forums and there telling me if I get a third party cooler for the CPU, and something goes wrong I void the warranty. They also told me that the HSF that comes with the FX55 is very good and comparible to good third party units.
