im getting the Core 2 Duo e6400 
on overclock.net people seem to have gotten up to 3.4ghz at stock voltage and the only reason they stopped was because their memory couldn't handle it.
so the lowest priced processor isn't the best overclocker this time...
then again, it depends on what stepping i get (overclock.net steppings, not intel steppings) and how well i cool it. i think im going to get a freezer 7 pro... and if i find a way to spare a few extra bucks i'll get a big typhoon.
people are cooling these processors passively at stock frequency, or so im told.
we'll see what frequency i can get with the memory and afterward i'll try and lower the latencies.
