My OS will not start/boot up

So I was just installing a Windows (Vista) update for my computer. During the installation, my computer froze. Because of that, I decided to restart my computer by holding down the power button since it was unresponsive. Since doing that, whenever I turn it on, it gets to the green bar on a black screen with the "(c) Microsoft Corporation" under the bar, the loading goes away and the cursor appears, then after about 30 seconds, the computer restarts itself. It goes through this never-ending cycle of restarting itself and I can't get to the login screen where I put in my password and login and all that. I can't find my reset CD anywhere, so I was wondering if there is anything I can do to fix this. I have another computer I can use, but only a 2gig pen drive (if necessary).

Also, none of the modes work, i.e. safe mode, etc. When the HP screen comes up, I can press esc to access the boot menu and F1 to access the BIOS/setup menu, but F10 doesn't work, which would let me do a system restore. I thought maybe my keyboard wasn't responding to my F10 key, but the same thing happened when I tried it with another keyboard. When I do succeed in pressing F10, I am brought not to a PC Restore screen but an "Edit Boot Options" screen. This is what I see on the screen:

Edit Windows boot options for: Microsoft Windows Vista

Path: \Windows\system32\winload.exe

Partition: 2
Hard Disk: (I'm going to omit this since I'm not sure if I should keep it secret or not, but it's an alphanumeric code)

[ /NOEXECUTE=OPTIN

and there's a cursor present to edit this command.

When I load Windows under Safe Mode, a screen comes up and scrolls a bunch of directories, then it stops at "Loaded: \Windows\System32\drivers\crcdisk.sys" and takes about a minute until it gets past that screen. Could that have something to do with my problem.

Thanks in advance.

Have you try to asked anyone have a Vista cd cos if someone can lend u the cd. window vista can try to repair either the bootloader corrupted or something. If that does not work u may try to find your hp repair disc, you can always order the vista recovery disc from hp.

I think the bootloader is corrupted.

Thanks for the reply.

Do you know of any way I could fix the bootloader without having to purchase anything? I would like a quick fix and tomorrow is Christmas, so no stores will be open.

try to fixboot command:
Start the computer and start presing F8 until
a menu show up.
then choose repair
and when he loads the menu from repair
choose Command prompt (litlle black DOS Windows)
After the black window opens, right the following:
