my pc has a worm and i cant get ride of it

Hey i am new to this forum so here it goes three days ago my pc which runs windows xp pro started to run really slow So i did some cleaning and still does not run correctly I tried to look at my task manger and it will not load i have ran Microsoft Antispyware, spybot, and adaware It finds certin things and removes them well Still not able to launch tsk mgr and it is still slow :mad: I have ran norton 3 times and all 3 times it picks up the same things 1)mc-58-12-0000137.exe 2) mc-58-12-0000140.exe I have deleted all of those files but they keep coming back. So i ran hijack this and still no luck. Please Help I am in need of advice thanks

Try system restore. Or, If you don't mind losing almost all your files (you could burn a cd with what you want to keep), you could just reformat. You have to have the XP disc to reinstall it, but that should be the last resort.
 
we're working on a fix for you, you have some viri on your machine. In the mean time, please run the scans in step 3 of the sticky, then post another Hijackthis log (not as an attachment please). :)
