My pc has all the specs needed but all games I play run slow. Any advice?

Pc specs:
12gb ram
i5 Intel processor

Internet spec:
Brand new Asus router
Brand new modem
Typical speed: 115mb/sec download and 20mb/sec upload

Games like warframe tend to run at 20fps

Help and advice please!
 
That really tells me nothing. It's probably using integrated video which doesn't suit games very well.

Typically you'd need a power supply and video card upgrade.

I've got an HP Envy too (Envy 17-j100).
I don't now about yours but mine has 2 graphic cards. One integrated (Intel HD Graphics 4600) and one nvidia card (GeForce GT 750M). If your hp also has 2 cards, try right clicking your game, then go to "run with graphical processor" en then you should see: "Powerfull nvidia-processor" and "Intergrated graphics". Click the nvidia processor.
Check if your game runs better now. If it doesn't, I would recommend lowering your settings in game or getting a more powerfull pc. If it does, your problem is fixed. If you don't see the "run with graphical processor" menu, google if your pc has these 2 graphic cards, if it has, install your drivers.
