My planned comp build

Hey everyone,

This is the computer I was planning on purchasing the parts for and putting together over the next few days. Advice on any of the parts (ESPECIALLY the mobo) would be really appreciated.

Intel Q6600
Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3P P45+ICH10R DDR2 1200 1600MHz
4gb OCZ DDRII 1066mhz RAM
500gb Samsung SATAII HDD
MSI HD4870
Antec Sonata Plus ATX with 550w PSU
Samsung 20x DVD drive
Zalman 9500A Cooler

This comes out around $1400 AU

The RAM I have listed isn't on the support list for the mobo but they say that the list isn't complete and it is clearly quite limited. I was looking for a mobo that would be around (or under if possible) $200AU and has two PCI express slots so I can add another HD4870 at some point in the future.

Looks like a decent build. Do you plan on waiting until Core 2 prices drop? (hopefully dropping anyways.)

Yeh I thought I'd wait a while but i just watched the Q6600 prices go from 212 to 309 and they've plateaued there. I'm assuming the prices are just up because of the whole financial crisis so they won't go down for a while?

I was going to go an AMD dual core 6400 in the alternative but was pretty excited about overclocking the q6600 to 3ghz.
