Im currently running:
AMD Athlon 2000+ 1.67ghz
512mb RAM
80gb harddrive
ECS motherboard (eMachines T2080 model)
GeForce 6800 (i put in)
Sound Blaster LIVE! 24-bit (i put in)
350 watt power supply 12V @ 18A (i put in)
2 120mm fans (came with case, i moved around)

what i plan on doing and buying in the weeks to come:
Rosewill 500watt power supply 12V @ 34A-- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817182004
Corsair RAM 1 GIG--
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145522
2 more NEON light fans 120MM--
www.xoxide.com
New case with 4 120MM fan slots--
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811209002
Western Digital Caviar SE WD800JD 80GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache Serial ATA150-- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822135106

After I install and buy all these I might buy new motherboard/processor. The hard drive Im buying is from storing games, music, software etc. my slave which is my hard drive right now will hold windows, etc. I also make movies so ill be needing a faster hard drive (7200 RPM) since my current is 5400RPM. What you guys think, think itll be an ok system after all. the reason im buying my mobo/processor last is cuase its the most money and i want it to be a good one (AMD 64-bit 3.2ish). tell me what you guys think and ill keep you updated as i go on :) oh, and i just bought pc155's for cstrike (greatest headset ever) :D

That case comes with a power supply tho. That 500 watt that you were going to buy seperate looks good though. And corsair makes good ram.

(AMD 64-bit 3.2ish).
As long as you mean 3200+ish and not 3.2Ghz is then thats so far so good

That case comes with a power supply tho.
Yeah but at 18A, i wouldnt trust a new fancy system to it :)

@bretbt:
I dunno how heavy of a gamer you are but theres not a world of real difference between Corsairs XMS and their value line (i.e., at most you'll notice say 5fps difference ... whether thats worth the price difference is up to you :))
