Laptop
Dell inspiron 1520
windows xp
intel pentium
I got it around Dec 07 which I use it for my online Japanese class so I installed/added the Japanese language and everything was fine. But I one point it started making some of my programs only appear in Jap. which that being my first ever class I had no clue what it said. I don't know if this issue has a precise "order" of which programs to convert to Jap. I was through with the class around Feb maybe so ever since then it hasn't stopped no matter what I do. Yes I have gone back and "turned off" Jap. I have also been to the Advanced tab of the Regional and Language Options and unchecked the Jap box. That still did nothing. I have also been to the Dell Support live chat and I think we all know how that goes especially talking on the phone which I've also tried and still no luck.
So far the programs that I know that this has happened to are Norton Virus protector and HP printer(which i just hooked up yesterday). This is really frustrating cause now I don't now if I'm clicking on the right buttons on Norton so I don't even know if it's getting rid of any viruses I have. X'C
well heres an example of what is happening.(this is what I saw after turning on my laptop and what not.)
