some details are left out of it though
like the fact that blue-ray is also also available for computers to use as burnable media (can store 25gb i think it was). hd-dvd isen't (not that i know of anyway). the fact that blue-ray is available for computers will give it a big edge over hd-dvd.
also, the 'buy both players' question isen't too accurate. if both media types made it big, even though they could require different players, many companies would probably put out players that could play both hd-dvd and blu-ray. just like how theres dvd/vcr combos out now.
