do u guys like it is worth the extra bucks for AM2. Is 939 gonna be around a while still?

i think it is worth it. we really dont know how much longer 939 will still be used, so am2 may be a good idea.

I think it's worth it, it's only a few dollars more and in the future the DDR2 will show greater improvement.

Yeah, it has 1 MB of L2 cache per core running @ 2.0 GHz.

I read somewhere that X2 4000+ was supposed to be released for Skt. 939 when X2 series came out, but it never was.
