This is the gaming rig I am buying and building with a mate in about 2 weeks, what do you guys think?
any help greatly appreciated thanks

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64bit with SP1 OEM

Motherboard: ASUS P8Z68-V Pro Motherboard B3

Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X F3-17000CL9D-8GBXM (2x4GB) DDR3

Hard Drives: Western Digital Caviar Black 2TB WD2002FAEX

SSD (FOR BOOTUP): OCZ Vertex 2 120GB SSD

Optical Drive: Samsung SH-B123A 12X Blu-ray DVD Combo Drive

Graphics card: ASUS GTX 560 Ti DirectCU II Overclocked 1GB

Network Card: ASUS PCE-N13 802.11 Wireless N PCI-Express Adapter

Power Supply: Antec TruePower Quattro 1000W TPQ-1000
 
unless getting like 3 of that 560ti then that psu is a complete and utter waste, also unless doing video editing and en/decoding then the i7 is also a waste and will be for the next like 5 years since you prob want a future proof one and all, and what about the case, and for the gpu, a superclocked/overclocked anything is a waste, you can do whatever they do in less than a minute with software they ship with the thing, also you can go higher, but not too much as if you don't know what you're doing, and this goes for the cpu too, then you might kill it.

Doesnt look bad.

Its your choice if you want to pay 100 bucks for the 2600K over the 2500K for Hyperthreading.

I would get the GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD4.

The power supply is overkill. Unless you want to run SLI later. A quality 600/650W power supply would be fine.
