My Swiftech MCW60 Block Melted

Hi,

after purchasing my MCW60 GPU block in January. Yesterday is decided to melt and piss coolant all over my computer >_>.

I have been monitoring the temperatures of both CPU and GPU (same loop) and both seemed fine.

Even so, surely the GPU should cut out before reaching the blocks melting point?

I'm just wondering if anyone has had anything like this happen before or why this would happen?

Do you have pictures of the block? Contact Gabe at swiftech with pictures of the block, and see if you can't get an explanation and a replacement.

And you saw the area where it melted? If you can't see where it melted, maybe it didn't get to that temperature and instead the heat expanded some seal and the coolant leaked through there... later when the temps dropped again, it sealed up again?

Nope, can definitely see the plastic has melted
