Hello,
I'm building a new computer system and I'm wondering what you think about it.

MOBO: MSI K8N Neo 4-FI 1394 Nforce4 Ultra
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 San Diego 3700+
RAM: 512M DDR400
HDD: W.D. 8M "JD" SATA 160G
GFX: Nvidia Forsa 128M 6600GT
SFX: Aopen 4.1 Channel
CASE: Super Flower Xion 465 (black)
DVD/RW: Samsung 16x dual layer (black)

This system costs approximately AUS $1000

If you have any comments, I would love to hear them
 
Upgrade to 1gb ram. Pretty much required for all high end applications these days,

If your tight on budget- downgrade to a 3500
 
its a fair system, but I would get a 3500+ and somehow upgrade to a 6800GT. You will see a difference in playing games.
 
If I downgrade the cpu, will there be a big performance loss,
and if I upgrade the graphic card, would I be best to go fot a ATI 128M X800GT cos that would go well with my budget!
