My USB pen drive wont work with vista

Hey guys,

I really need to resolve this problem as my coursework deadlines are soon and i cant work from the house as my pen drive doesn not work with vista.

Its a sandisk micro cruzer with U3.. But in uninstalled the U3.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Forgot to mention its saying cannot locate driver.

i've got the driver installed.. it shows up in device manager. but not in my computer? cant access it still

is it formatted??? and maybe the U3 isn't working with vista, if it comes up in computer management reformat it.

You need to update the firmware on the flashdrive so it'll work with Vista (the U3 part anyway) but otherwise it should work in Vista just fine.

it really isnt lol.. takes ages to load.. and when im going from classroom to classroom its inconvienient

You if you need to go quickly, it is a grab and go. If you have the U3 you have to disconnect it.... but i agree with you.

I have the exact same flash drive with U3 uninstalled and it works perfectly with Vista. Try dumping your files to a computer and then completely reformatting the flash drive.
