Hey guys i know you get a ton of these but i just wanted to be sure before i buy. ok so im looking for a comp around 7-800 and this will mainly be for school, games, and what not. ive posted before and came up with this final build. All im missing is a mobo thats good but cheap enough to fit this. Also Im thinking the Mobo should be upgrade friendly.

So i think thats it. also i have windows xp as a os right now but i would love to have the option to upgrade it to vista later. Also newegg is charging me for shipping does that normally happen? i thought shipping was free.

Thanks for any future input

So how much can you spend on a mobo?

You can look into the Gigabyte DS3's, they don't support SLI but would that be a problem?

maybe a 100-130 at the most? and hmmm i dont think it would matter too much either way, although i would like the option

You have pretty good taste for a first time builder....

The 7600GT is a good budget DX9 card, the E6750 is the best bang for the buck CPU, IMO. Ultra PSU's are pretty decent and I would go with the option of SLI. Is this really your first build?

get a nforce 650i or 680 se !!!!!!! sli ready and pretty upgradable

note: r u sure u dont want to add a extra 40 bucks into ur processor and get a quad they should be going to 270 soon

I don't perfer getting the Seagate Drive. My friend and I have bought some in the past and they have failed in like 6 months. I changed to Western Digital, and still using a 2 year old Hard Drive, you can see it in my sig. Im not saying don't get it, Im saying I don't perfer it because of recent problems in the past.

iono , dont u wanna get a vieocard ready for
VISTA and DX10 games , its the future ur going to convert sooner or latr, if i was in ur position and could spend a bit more . id get an 8800 GTS . up to you , everything else is good

wow thnx for all the suggestions. yeah this is my first build and im little nervous but i got alot of help from ThatGuy16 in another post. ill looking into getting a different vd card

An 8500Gt is equivelant to a 7600GT
EDIT: Nevermind can't even beat a GS much less a GT go for the 8600GTS IMO
