Hello,

I just received a ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 128MB AGP Video Card today. Not very good but, better than I had. I have a problem. The video card does not fit either of my systems. I have a newer HP pavilian 2.2 and another 3 years old with an AMD Athlon Thunderbird 1.4. I've never had a problem like this before.

Do the video cards come with the plugs in different locations?

Sounds like you only have PCI in your computer. There's nothing you can do other than upgrad the motherboard, or return the video card and get a PCI video card(NOT PCI express)

list your specs.

My older computer that I wanted to install this in:
Motherboard: ECS-K7VZA
Processor: AMD Athlon - Thunderbird 1.4
Memory: 512 MB SDRAM 133.3
HD: 80GB 7200
OS: XP Pro

fx5500 / fx 5700 would be the best pci card. the 5500 is about 50 to 60 bucks and it comes in 128mb and 256 megs. The fx5700 is a bit more and i think its only the LE edition for PCI, but not sure.

I looked up some information on that motherboard and it appears to have AGP... I'm not quite sure what your problem is as it should work no problem.

The Other One's right, it's definately an AGP board. It should plug nicely into the slot that's slightly offset from the other five (white). If not, then are you sure you have been sent an AGP card?
