My webcam is noisy

I have a HP 4110 webcam and what a noisy sucker it is (like a jet engine in the far background). I never thought anything of it until I play a video from my Logitech webcam I had about 2 years ago and it is quite with no noise. But I forgot what the model was so does anyone know of a quite Logitech webcam I can buy?

How can a webcam be noisy? Does yours have a fan or something? I've never heard of a webcam making noise. There might be something wrong with yours. What kind of sound is it? Like a high-pitched whining, or something else?

Logitech is a good brand for webcams, and so is Microsoft (surprisingly). Any webcam you get from Logitech or Microsoft will do the trick.
