right im tryin to set up a website for my enterprise project (skate and bmx shop to be specific), ive got as far as havin my adress but how do i put stuff on my website.?

you'll need someone to host the site, (have a server to put it on, that's usually an ISP). Then you'll need them to implement the DNS settings for your address (points your address to their the IP of the server, Internet wide). After that you just need to upload your site to their server...
 
I use WS_FTP (might be outdated, but very simple to use) to upload the pages to the host server of my site. U can download freeware versions from the Web.
 
SmartFTP is free for home use, and its bloody simple to use.

Remeber to name your intial home page "index.html" so that browsers know where to go first.
