I purchased an older Hp TC4400 tablet pc, It has a Centrino Duo 2 Core 1.83 GHz processor, 1G of RAM with a 32-bit Windows 7 Ultimate OS, and has been reset to factory settings. The computer is running sluggish and sometime takes a while to load pages and launch programs, I installed Karpersky Internet Security and did a full scan which came back clean. My question is, will upgrading my RAM to 4GB which is it's max capacity, make a noticable difference in performance. Thanks for all and any positive responses

yes it will make it faster, the processor isn't too bad and it will be the ram letting it down there. it will need pretty much all of that 1gb to run windows 7 giving a small amount for games and programmes. hense why its slow.

my pc on windows 8 runs about 1.7gb Ram on idle. so id say upgrade it.

if its 32bit also the max that can support is 4gb anyway.
