My Xbox 360 Cooler Review

Well.
I went to compusa today, looking to buy a crossover cable. When they were out of stock, I walked over to the console section, and saw Xbox 360 Intercoolers.
I decided to buy it since the original price was $20 and it was on sale for $15.
Lol.

I've only played Halo 2 with it, so the 360 probably doesn't get that hot. But I'll edit in how it handles with 360 games, like GoW.

Other then that, its kind of loud.
But there's three fans.

It turns on automatically, as soon as the 360 is on.

Clips on nicely to the back.
Power cable for the 360 is hard to push in, but once its in, its in.

I would recommend it if your 360 will be on a lot.

You're addicted to spending money.

Every thread you make is asking for help spending more money, or in this case reporting back that you were successful in doing so.

I |2 Successful.

I am not buying an 8800... So... I changed my mind, I am justing buying more ram and vista, and another hdd.

I have a job, I am allowed to spend money.

Your post had nothing to do with my post...

Whats wrong with spending money? You don't necessarily have to buy expensive things, if you buy lots of small things it makes life really interesting:P

Guilty as charged:D

yeah, and it was on sale! That's makes all the difference! no mind if its only 5 cents off, but the sale! oh god, i cant pass one of them up! Moldy cheese? on sale? I'll take 5!

The cooler is a total waist if you ask me. I have had 3-4 xbox360's stacked on top of one another running for 2-3 days straight (lan type thing) of halo1-2. None of them overheated. The originals did overheat but since then version2-3 have had no problems. :)

Agreed. A better option would be to remove the stock heatsink on the CPU and replace it with a much bigger one using AS5, or perhaps watercooling(which would be pry a bigger waste of money). Although the stock heatsink is very nice, its just not enough.

This "review" isn't that helpful, you don't go in depth about that product and you don't even give us the products name

I bet you will have more problems with it down the road than without it.

It draws power from the 360, thus giving you less performance juice to power up and run your 360. Overtime...

Well.

As I mentioned, I am going to get around to playing GoW, to see how it runs.

And...I dont think there are many other xbox 360 coolers...

Though if it helps you, Nyko Intercooler...

I have my cooler sitting next to me by itself, I am looking to replace the fans, cause the current ones are loud.

I bought a camera.

I'll take pictures tomorrow.
I haven't replaced the fans yet with LED ones.

Once I figure out its connection and stuff, it'll work.

Thanks
