My Xbox 360 freezes all the time???

My Xbox 360 freezes all the time, even without my hardrive, onlin, and offline. It's so weird. Sometimes my drive won't even eject just sit there and make a humming noise like it's slipping. One day I had turned it off and went back up a little later and it was on and the green light was rapitally blinking without stopping what should I do??:confused:

how old is it? could be signs of overheating. MAke sure that you have it in an open space rather than tucked under a desk or Tv and such. Give it as much room as possible to "breathe". You can buy aftermarket coolers I think for it but not sure how good they are. Might be worth giving MS a buzz with regards to the warranty though, better to catch it nice and early in case its start to go :)
 
When it freezes and does the blinking green light thing, hit the little button to the right of the memory card slots. Last time that happened to me was trying to get a new controller to be recognized. The xbox was "frozen" in that it wouldn't take any input. A quick push of that button and the one on the controller and all was good.

Just a thought, as thats the only time ive seen the green lights on the console blink.
