MySpace to lay off 30 percent of staff

Hi,

This is my first post to the forum, it’s very informative and enjoyable really.

According to Routers, Myspace will cut its staff by 30 percent. As you can guess, Facebook and Twitter are very powerful competitors of myspace. There are many more competitor in online community industry and I wonder which one will become most powerful. Any predictions?

I don't even know anyone that uses MySpace anymore. Facebook has all of the features and more, minus horrible custom layouts and autoplaying music.
 
My cousin uses myspace....I help her do the technical stuff...also all her basketball team is on there so good way to keep connected.

Personally I think they are all stupid and each new "version" gets more and more retarded.

CF better never have a "Fail Whale" happen or my foot is getting lodged up someones kester.

I usually stick with what I like.. Since there has been an influx of social networking sites in the past couple years.. I use MySpace to keep in touch with old friends, and Facebook for more current friends, and for my groups and business.

Enjoyable? Whats enjoyable to hear that 30% of myspaces staff are going to be axed and loose their jobs?
I hear this kind of thing everyday and its not enjoyable.
