Hey guys, I was wondering if someone could help me installing MySQL for Linux, I've used the yum -y install mysql mysql-server command and it worked, then I use the system-config-securitylevel command to disable the SELInux protection for mysqld, and then I've tried to start the service through the /sbin/service mysqld start command but this error appears:
ERROR 2002: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2), then someone told me that finding the file and linking to that directory would enable mysql but it doesn't work, I would appreciate any tip, guide link or any suggestion. Thanks.
