MySQL software

I'm looking for some good quality MySQL hosting software which is free of charge. Since the MySQL I got with Appserv is giving me all kinds of sh*t and I've had to re-install Appserv about 4 times because every time I make a password for the root user it denies access to the admin part of the software.

Well, I downloaded MySQL 5 from www.mysql.com It's open source and free of charge.
