In the very far future...the internet speed isnt even near even g speeds...my Cable speed is about 10mbps, and my router/card is 54mbps. The only internet connection that would even come close to a 54mbps connection is a T1 or T3. The only advantages I see for N is the extended range, and you won't get that unless the router is N, which I haven't seen anyone have them at all. Also, keep in mind that it's probably Pre-N or Draft-N.
