n00b question

try re-plugging the device then install the driver ^_*

I deleted then replaced the drive in the device manager and i get the same thing...

I also tried system restore and last known good configuration that worked and still nothing

THIS IS DRIVING ME INSANE

actually, if someone could tell me where to find the driver in the registry, could I post a pic and have someone tell me what's wrong?

hey all, I just did a HP technician chat (why the hell didn't I think of that before?!? ) and he sent me the link to a script that fixed it. Thanks to those who bothered helping me though
