hey, ive nearly finished my computer bulid and it goes like this:

Abit IP35 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "Energy Efficient SLACR 95W Edition" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - OEM
Zalman CNPS7500-CU CPU Cooler (Socket 478/754/939/940/AM2/LGA775)
OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC2-8500 1066MHz SLI-Ready Edition Dual Channel DDR2 (OCZ2N1066SR2GK)
Hitachi Deskstar T7K500 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (0A33437)
Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case
ATI x600 256mb Radeon (which i want to upgrade soon)
o/s: XP media centre
i want to upgrade my psu:
OCZ StealthXStream 600w Silent SLI Ready ATX2 Power Supply
and graphics card

I want to know what tests i should run on my computer to see what its like, i havent overclocked anything or altered any voltages on any components.

i will run a 3D bemchmark 06 i belive and i wondered what other tests i should run. just to see how my computer runs.

thanks for any help in advance

also i belive the 8800 prices are dropping in december, which is good for me! as im now skint lol

you should run some tests that directly measure your cpu performance rather than 3d benchmark tests because you'll score low in the 3d area since you only have an x600 card. Everything else is uber fast.. Wish i had that kind of setup.
