Need a Computer Built

Ok, I have a 3 years old Dell Desktop Dimension 2400 and a Sony Vaio labtop also 3 years old. It was all good up until now, I now like to have many things open and play games once and a while, but mostly I am with Adobe Photoshop, with a school work open so I need a GOOD Intel Processor. My dad wants to pay less than 1000 or even better lower than 900. I would like space for images and speed to have many things open, and have a good graphics to have very good graphics when I play once in awhile. I need a computer built for starch, from there I buy the items and me and my friend are going to assemble, in the meanwhile im going to do some research in building computers. Thanks to whoever helps =)
 
 
Is the quality good of the products, cause I rather buy better quality stuff before spending more money because something burned out


Is it that hard to OC something, cause I could buy a 1.83 ghz core 2 duo, a better motherboard etc.

They're all good..but instead of an E6600...maybe downgrade to an E6400 or E6300 cuz they are alot cheaper and provide nice performance and great overclocking.
