Need a dvd-rom drive

I want to finish off my HTPC with a DVD-rom drive for playing movies. Problem is that all of my IDE connectors are full.

I have 2 HDD's on the primary IDE and a DVD and CD burner on the 2 secondary IDE. Is it possible to hook up another device?

Since you have a DVD and CD burner
A DVD burner burns cds so just take off the CD burner and put in the DVD rom

As mentioned, a DVD burner will read and write to CDs and DVDs, so you don't need another drive. However, if you must have another, I'd suggest getting another controller card. You could probably get another IDE controller and drive for less than an SATA drive(if you even have SATA in the computer...)

I dunno, those liteon SATA drives are pretty darn cheap.

I ordered a pair of the samsungs to try them out.
