Need a good free firewall besides zone alarm

Hello,

My zone alarm was working great since last upgrade. Then it started to fail and I uninstalled and installed it again about 3 times and every time I'm unable to make it work. Because my knowledge about computers is limited I think the best way is to try to install another firewall. Can you help me out?

You can use Smoothwall on an older machine (pentium-class, even) for a dedicated firewall appliance, which would give you more flexibility.

Is black-ice still out there....if it is try it out it used to be very powerful and free.

Im trying Armor2net from download.com, its a 30 day trial thing.
