need a laptop

I am thinking of getting a laptop

I am wanting one with a bigger screen

after I get a router I might use it for internet
but mostly for watching videos, software, etc. Mostly general use.

any ideas on a good place to get one?

Newegg is a best bet. If you need help finding a good deal on one let us know what a bigger screen is like does that mean 15" or 17" and a price point for you.

price might be a bit of an issue for me. I would like at least 17", but if I can afford 20 or 21, nice.

Well what price point are you looking at, the biggest screens I have seen are from Alienware which are 18.4" for about 2k. 17" though I am sure we could find in your price point.

Are you needing to be portable with that big of a screen? Maybe a all-in-one would be your best option?

it HAS to be portable for sure. it needs a keyboard. so I can take it around the house with me while my hubby uses the computer.

and also to use as a back up for if/when the main computer gets issues. etc.

also - what is the diff between windows 7 and windows 8?

is touch screen worth it?
