need a little help on server hard drive setup

i want to build microssoft home server 2011

if I put 2 x 1TB hard drive in raid 1 that make 1TB hard drive right

but if I add a 3 and 4 1TB hard drive later on the line,

would I have delete all and start over again or would it automatic pick the 3 and 4 hard drive and set it up as 2TB raid

It would add the additional drives as regular drives unless you go into the raid utility and assign the two a raid configuration.
 
Windows home server also has the storage pool feature. You might want to look into that. Might be better for you to use.
