Need a little help please

Well, my connection on my main pc is fine but the one in my room is screwed up. when i ipconfig it says "media disconnected" and i dont know why, i have a modem that is linked to my wireless router which is a linksys WRTG54 v.3.
I am using a psp wifi max to get connection to my other pc and it has been working fine up until now. I have tried reseting my modem and router and power botting them but that hasnt worked. my brothers psp gets connection and my moms laptop is "media disconnected" also. Despite this i can still get online and so can my mom, i just wanted to know if there is a way to fix this problem

Check your wireless config in the router...
 
if you are getting a media disconnected it could be that you have disabled your internet device. check the device manager to make sure that it is enabled, and that your drivers are up to date
 
nothing is disabled because i can still get online my wireless config on my router is all set to default settings. and i do have a home network set up. also i just noticed that my modem, not the router, keeps reseting itself periodically, its acting very strange. it will work for a couple hours then go offline for 30mins or so.
