I have an AMD Athlon XP 2400+ with 256 ram.
I looked in my motherboard manual and found this:
This mainboard accommodates 184-pin 2.5V Double Data Rate (DDR) SDRAM and 168-pin 3.3V SDRAM memory modules. The memory chips must be standard SDRAM
The CPU supports 100 MHZ system bus. The SDRAM DIMMs and DDRs can sychronously work with 100 MHZ or operate over a 133 system bus.
And somewhere else in the manual it says:
The mainboard accommodates the following memory configurations:
DDR PC 1600/PC2100 SDRAM supports up to 2 GB using two 2.5V DIMM modules
SDRAM PC 133/PC 100 supports up to 2GB using two 3.3 DIMM modules.
So, that's all I know. I went to newegg to look for a 256 stick (all I need) and found this:

This one's 2100 which is what my motherboard needs. I don't know if I can buy more than 2100 or not but if I can it won't hurt, because there are sticks more than 2100 for less than this one's price.
What do you think?
