Need a little help

My friends want to play BF2 but they don't have a good enough video card or enough space on their PC to play it. I installed it for them but when I tested it out the PC couldn't handle it and the PC got very bad lag. It's not my PC, and I don't really know a lot about it, so I'm not going to go tell my friends to go buy a video card and have the gameplay be the same. If you guys could help me out I would appreciate it. BTW, my friends don't want to spend over 50 bucks, unless it is absolutely neccessary. And, they also will need more space (RAM) to make the gameplay better as well, thanks.

If you can't spend more than $50 theres not much you can do 'cept add an extra 512 of ram..

Its going to cost more than 50, needs more ram, another 512. Plus its onboard video, wont kick it, pretty sure its got a PCIe 16X slot so they could upgrade to a PCIe X16 video card.

Why should we help you if you act like that

If you upgraded your RAM as mentioned and video card to a 7600 or maybe 7300, you should much better off. Your biggest bottleneck is definetly the video card... Still, this isn't exactly a gaming machine, so don't expect too much out of it.

Oh, and it's best to be sure you do have a PCI-Express slot in the machine. I know that's a PCI-Express chipset, but some cheaper boards might not have the actual slot to upgrade...
